Jordan is getting sued!

Allen Heckard is suing Michael Jordan because he is tired of being mistaken for him nearly every day for the past 15 years. “I’m constantly being accused of looking like Michael and it makes me very uncomfortable,” Heckard reportedly said. This Portland, Oregon man has filed a lawsuit for $832 million in county court against Michael Jordan and Nike founder Phil Knight on June 29. How did he get to this figure? “Well, you consider my age and you multiple that times seven and then I turn around and I figure that’s what it all boils down to,” said Heckard.

Is this a joke?! No, this is apparently not a joke and is exactly what this man is doing! The funniest thing is that Mr. Heckard is actually led to believe that he can get money for this! There is no way that this case will make it past county court and should be thrown out immediately. First of all, it should be a compliment to look like Mike. He is one of the best basketball players in the world. Second, it is not Michael Jordan, nor Nike founder, Phil Knight’s fault that Allen Heckard looks like Michael Jordan. This is completely out of their control and is certainly not something you should be able to get millions of dollars out of. This is just another example of people trying to take advantage of other people with money.
