End of summer...
It is the end of summer for me... well, at least in the good ole' U.S. of A.! As of Friday, July 28th, Tobi and I will return to Germany to spend some time with his family until the start of next season. Up to this point, I have not signed a new contract for the 2006-2007 season. I wish that I could have reported the news of this before I leave, but it does not look like negotiations will wrap up before then. We are being very patient this summer and my agent exploring every option to find the best fit. I try not to worry about that and focus on intense training both in the weight room and on the court.
I must say that this past summer was amazing. We did a lot of traveling including trips to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Washington D.C.; the Outer Banks, North Carolina; the Jersey Shore; New York City; Philadephia; Amish country; and Longwood Gardens. Besides traveling, I also really enjoy being able go back each summer and spend time with my father in Williamstown, New Jersey, as well as being involved in the coaching of players through camp and individual work. Speaking of camps, I am excited to report that I have formed a partnership with Karen Dilmore, the coach at Williamstown High School, to form "South Jersey Advanced Skill Camps". In the summer of 2007, we will debut the first high school girls' advanced skills camp. Check back in later this year for further details!
