Paradise in Garda, Italy

It felt like paradise in Garda, Italy. Tobi and I needed to get away for the weekend and treat ourselves. We have been preparing for next season by practicing hard with the men´s basketball team in Rosenheim and by doing a lot of weight training. Also, since we arrived nearly a month ago in Germany, it has been mostly cold and rainy. We missed the summer sun, so we went to Lake Garda in Italy.

We stayed in the mountains with an amazing view of the lake and the small town of Garda. We layed by the pool with a pina coloda in hand, enjoyed the delicious Italian food, took a course on windsurfing- wow, that is a hard sport, went tubing on the back of a boat- it was such a funny experience, and played golf on one of the most beautiful courses I have ever seen. Needless to say, it was exactly what I needed! ...now we must get back to reality.
